Uéslei Fagundes (b.1987) is a Master's student in Visual Poetics at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and much of his research focuses on the representation of everyday life through painting. Fagundes finds in his surroundings a pretext to explore the memory embedded in the chosen materials, sometimes combined with inscriptions that are also prosaic and of a conjectural nature, evoking some promises of painting that are still in suspension.
