Lucy Kent is a contemporary landscape artist based in the UK. Predominantly painting in oils from nature, Lucy has recently been developing some oil pastel work on paper, with a focus on colour and simplifying shapes. Lucy’s work is widely collected and she has exhibited regularly with well-known British institutes including with the ROI. ‘I love to travel, working from life and creating paintings and pastel works that distil the view into shape and colour. I focus on capturing the atmosphere of a place rather than an exact representation.’
