Stella McGarvey (b.2000, Glasgow ) is a South London-based artist working with analogue photography & installation. She graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2022 and currently works out of her studio in Peckham. Her practice is influenced by a deep urge for connection. She sees objects as familiars for ghosts and they start to take on an anthropomorphic presence, creating imagined histories of what was once there or may have once been there.
